Who are we?
Our members constitute the majority of the wholesale optical industry in Australia ie. prescription spectacle lenses, optical frames, sunglasses, sight testing equipment etc.
Our Mission
ODMA’s mission is to strengthen, support and grow the optical industry for the benefit of its members.
ODMA’s key activity is its trade events - O=MEGA our joint venture with Optometry Victoria South Australia held every two years and OSHOW held on the alternate year in exciting new venues. We are excited to announce that we have successfully won the bid to host the 4th World Congress of Optometry alongside O=MEGA23, at the spectacular Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 8 to 10 September 2023.
Our Board
ODMA has a nine person board elected every two years who serve unpaid for the good of the industry. The board are supported by the Chief Executive Officer, Amanda Trotman. If you would like to contact the board on any matter, please email amanda@odma.com.au

Australian manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors of optical and ophthalmic products and services can apply to become a member of ODMA. All applications are considered at the next board meeting following receipt of the fully completed application.
