Who are we?
Our members constitute the majority of the wholesale optical industry in Australia ie. prescription spectacle lenses, optical frames, sunglasses, sight testing equipment etc.
Our Mission
ODMA’s mission is to strengthen, support and grow the optical industry for the benefit of its members.
ODMA’s key activities are running trade events – ODMAFair (large trade fair and educational program), OSHOW (smaller trade show run in the alternate year to ODMAFair), and O=MEGA (our joint venture with Optometry Victoria South Australia held in past years with future dates yet to be confirmed). ODMA also owns Eyetalk publications – scroll below for more information on our resources and publications to support Independent Optometry Practices.
Our Board
ODMA has a nine person board elected every two years who serve unpaid for the good of the industry. The board are supported by the Chief Executive Officer, Amanda Trotman. If you would like to contact the board on any matter, please email amanda@odma.com.au
