The Optical Event Brand the Whole Industry Still Refers to Is Back....
ODMA is excited to announce that it is bringing back ODMA Fair.
ODMA is proud to announce that 2025 will be the year the renowned optical industry event, ODMA Fair, returns. The ODMA25 event will be a calendar highlight and will showcase the latest eyewear, equipment, lenses, and optical-related offerings at the International Convention Centre (ICC). ICC is situated in Sydney’s Darling Harbour precinct, which will provide a stunning setting for suppliers and optical practices to come together from 27 to 29 June 2025.
ODMA CEO Amanda Trotman stated “ODMA Fair in 2025 will allow us to expand on the O-SHOW offering that has been so popular in recent years. At O-SHOW, we must limit exhibitors to no more than four booth spaces, and while we love the format and boutique feel, it will be great to enable those wanting more space to expand their presence and to allow for a broader range of exhibitors to be invited to participate. All those with services to offer the optical industry will be invited to exhibit – frames, lenses, sunglasses, accessories, equipment, devices, buying groups and business services.”
ODMA will be expanding the events range of speakers and seeking out both optical and business presenters to address key areas of interest for optical practices and to address their current business challenges. ODMA is committed to building a strong program and ODMA’s eyetalk subscriber base of independent practices will be a great source of input for topic ideas. ODMA Fair will build an informative program which is developed from the ground up so that it considers the amount of time required to cover that specific topic effectively as opposed to fitting everything in to set hourly timeslots. Whether it be eyecare, practice management, dispensing, retailing or business topics, ODMA is keen to include content focused on what practices are keen to hear and which will help them take their businesses forward for a strong future.
ODMA’s CEO went on to comment, “we feel this approach to presentation content which compliments and runs in harmony with a major products and services trade fair, will set this event apart, especially given there is already a broad range of CPD focused events on offer for optometry professionals, whether that be live local events or virtually.
An event taking place at the end of financial year should also assist those wanting to invest in larger orders, as it provides for making purchases within the current or following financial year. The event will be one that welcomes everyone involved in an optical practice – optometrists, dispensers, front desk, practice managers and business management.”
