ODMA Announces New Look Trade Fair Floorplan

ODMA has finalised the Trade Fair Floorplan for ODMAFair25 with stakeholders’ priorities top of mind

ODMA recently announced the return of ODMAFair for 2025 as they seek to hold a Sydney-based event at ICC where attendance can be maximised. The ODMAFair25 event will be a calendar highlight and is set to showcase the latest eyewear, equipment, lenses and optical-related offerings, along with practical seminars and workshops, from 27 to 29 June 2025.

This week, the ODMA Fair team have commenced offering exhibit space for sale to Australian manufacturers and distributors and looks forward to updating the industry later this year on who will be exhibiting at this major national event.

ODMA CEO Amanda Trotman stated, “A lot of planning has gone into the trade fair floorplan as one of the event's first major deliverables. This is because ODMA fully appreciates that if exhibitors can maximise their involvement, then this makes for a strong event. This, in turn, encourages supplier commitment to support future events, events that the industry appreciates and benefit from and which cannot happen without the substantial investment suppliers make to be able to effectively present their offerings.”

Amanda went on to say that, of course, this goes hand in hand with ensuring a great experience for visitors. ODMA prides itself on making its events open to those who wish to attend sessions and to those who just wish to focus on products and services, and it welcomes all members of the practice team.

Amanda stated, “The floorplan incorporates dispersed catering, a central Knowledge Centre that will be a great central focus and yet allow attendees to listen well despite the buzz of the show by using headphones. Large suppliers and custom booths will be dispersed and not just at the front and centre of the show to provide a good mix of products all around the show floor. There will be multiple Frames Central areas after the success of these at OSHOW24, and catering areas with comfortable places to grab a cuppa and chat will all around the floor. This is to add interest all around the floor, encourage people to mingle, and transfer that wonderful relaxed and friendly vibe we achieved at OSHOW in this larger ODMAFair event.”

Space is being released in stages to ODMA members past exhibitors and the broader optical industry. Those wishing to exhibit should receive information in the coming weeks or are welcome to reach out to Trudi at events@odma.com.au
