TGA consultation paper on proposed fees and charges for 2025-2026 now published

ODMA attends the annual bilateral meeting at the end of every calendar year to state our case as to why TGA fees and charges should not be increased or only increased minimally. We provide an industry update and make the TGA aware of industry challenges.

That said, TGA fee and charge increases have to do with TGA costs, needing services to be self-funding and other influences, and thus, most years, we see increases.

The TGA has asked ODMA to bring to member attention that the consultation paper on this matter has now been published, and the consultation period will close on 28 Feb 2025.

Here is your chance to state your specific case if TGA fees and charges are affecting your business or if you feel those charges they propose to raise will cause major issues or should be handled differently before the TGA finalises next financial year's fees and charges.

You are welcome to send your input via letter to ODMA to submit to the TGA as we are happy to collate member input. Alternatively, please contact the TGA directly per below.

The TGA has now published a consultation paper on the proposed TGA fees and charges for 2025-26. The paper has been released to obtain broader stakeholder feedback on the proposed changes for the 2025-26 fees and charges. The consultation period will close on Friday 28 February 2025.

If you require any further information about the consultation paper, please email TGAFeesAndCharges@health.gov.au.

 Thank you and Kind regards,

Ronil Kumar
