Cast Your Vote: ODMA Awards 2025 Are Open!
ODMA is thrilled to introduce new and exciting industry award categories for the ODMA Fair 2025!
From today until the end of March, you can nominate your business or those you love now. Then, these will be compiled and open for Voting from April 2025. Winners will be announced on Friday, 27th June, at the ODMA Fair in Darling Harbour, Sydney.
ODMA CEO Amanda Trotman shared, "This year, we've designed the awards to ensure the entire industry can participate—from storefronts to product innovation. We've also made the process flexible, allowing people to nominate in one category or several, based on their preference." Let’s celebrate excellence together!
The ODMA Awards 2025 features an impressive lineup of categories designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across the optical industry. Here’s a look at this year’s award categories:
Independent Practice of the Year – Can be self-nominated or nominated by providers.
Which Practice deserves this great honour?
Provide wording and images if applicable. Examples of things are renovations, team, customer service, local industry involvement (i.e. chamber of commerce, schools, sporting teams, charity), good news stories, staff retention, and practice financial or patient results. It's up to you!
Supplier of the Year – Nominated by independent practices as to what instrument (type and brand) is used in the practice and is highly valued and why.
Top Supplier Customer Service Team - Nominated by independent optical businesses. Who is your favourite supplier, and why?
Sales Representative of the Year - Nominated by independent optical businesses as to who gives the best service to your practice and how they have gone above and beyond to help.
Instrument of the Year - Nominated by independent practices as to what piece of equipment is they are using and why
Versatile Frame of the Year - Nominated by independent practices. What frame has stood out over the last 12 months for its appeal to people, its versatility for different shape faces, colour range, adaptability etc. (nominate a maximum of 3 frames per practice)
Window Dressing - Best independent practice window dressing.
Show us the window displays you have organised that have stood out, gained great results and helped attract new clients. Nominate up to two different window displays and send up to two images of each display.
